63 barangay, SK bets file COCs in Muntinlupa on first day

A total of 63 candidates submitted their certificates of candidacy (COCs) on the first day of filing on Aug. 28 for the Oct. 30 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

The aspirants filed their COCs with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Muntinlupa located in the Ayala Malls South Park in Barangay Alabang.

Comelec has set the filing of COCs from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2 while the campaign period for candidates will be from Oct. 19 to 28. 

Of the 63 candidates who filed their COCs in Muntinlupa, three are vying for the position of barangay chairman, 27 for barangay kagawad, four for SK chairperson, and 29 for SK kagawad. 

Here is the partial list of candidates who filed their COCs on Aug. 28. The list will be updated.
