Tuburan 360 is Cebu's newest tourist attraction

CEBU CITY – There is a new tourist destination in the northwestern part of Cebu.

With its picturesque 360-view of Tuburan town, the Tuburan 360 is fast becoming a top tourist attraction in the second-class municipality.

Tuburan 360 also offers a wide variety of delectable food that visitors can choose from, said Tuburan Mayor Aljun Diamante, the owner of the facility.

The Tuburan 360 sits atop a mountain in Barangay Kabangkalan, Tuburan.

Diamante said the development of the areas is still at 30 percent.

Tuburan 360 will soon accept overnight stay as construction of villas is already ongoing.

“There are three phases of the development. Phase 1 is already complete. Phase 2 is the construction of villas and camping areas. Phase 3 is the development of the bamboo kingdom or bamboo tunnel,” said Diamante.

The place will also include farm tourism to make the visit an educational one, said Diamante.

“We will also offer farm tourism so that our children will be encouraged in farming,” said Diamante.

Tuburan 360 is located near the sprawling coffee plantation owned by Diamante.

Diamante said that on weekdays, the facility accommodates an average of 2,000 to 3,000 visitors.

On weekends, about 3,000 to 4,000 tourists visit the place.

An environmental fee of P20 will be collected for every visitor.

“The minimal environmental fee is to help maintain the environment,” said Diamante.
