Kerry Sports Manila launches Skillrun Bootcamp

Kerry Sports Manila has officially launched the first-ever Skillrun Bootcamp by Technogym at Shangri-La in Taguig on Tuesday, Aug. 1.  The Skillrun Bootcamp by Technogym is a high intensity interval training (HIIT) group class format that uses advanced fitness technology solutions.  The new equipment will be exclusively available at the two-storey fitness facility, the largest indoor lifestyle and leisure club in the Philippines.  With the combination of cardio and strength training, the latest equipment offers efficient and varied workout programs.  The single treadmill machine was specifically designed for cardio and strength workouts through its cutting-edge Sled Training and Parachute Training features, with the former mimicking the action of pushing a sled on grass to help users improve speed, while the latter helps simulate the feeling of running outdoors with a parachute to improve resistive power. "At Kerry Sports, we commit to advancing our facilities in order to continuously improve the overall experience of holistic wellness for our members. We believe that our members can reach their health and wellness goals when equipped with the right technology and solutions, and this is why we launched the Technogym Skillrun Bootcamp at Kerry Sports Manila,” said Amit Oberoi, general manager, Shangri-La The Fort, Manila. Members of the fitness and lifestyle club as well as hotel guests can check out the new innovative equipment addition.  Participants of the Skillrun Bootcamp can even sync their wearable heart rate monitor or smart watch to the digital whiteboard screen to track their real-time heart rate and even play tutorial videos for a follow-along workout program.  At the end of the class, participants can use the Kerry Sports customized Technogym App to monitor their Skillrun Bootcamp performance.
