During the press conference for her newest series, "Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko," at Viva Cafe in Araneta City on Aug. 1, Coleen shared how excited she is to work again on a new project.

According to Coleen, she realized that this time would be the perfect moment to take a step forward in her career after spending her time with Billy in France for two months.

"We spent two months there in France. I haven't been able to put my footing for the longest time. So I need this time, and I really prayed for it, and I felt God told me to stay. Kaya I told Billy, "Love, I really need to use this time for me, and what he said was, "It's okay, love", Coleen shared.

Working with Carlo Aquino

Before landing the role of Allie and Benedict in the series, Coleen and Carlo worked on past projects, including the film "Exes Baggage" with limited scenes.

During the press conference, Coleen revealed that she had dinner with Carlo and director Carlo Enciso Catu to help them get to know each other.

"Nagdinner kami before hand with direk, so parang meron kaming getting to know stage para mabreak lang yung wall before starting," she said.

Carlo also mentioned that working with Coleen on the project has greatly benefited him.

"Tsaka si Coleen sobrang gaan lang niya katrabaho, and very open kami sa isa't isa, kwentuhan kami tungkol sa mga nangyayari sa buhay, para comportable kami sa bawat scenes," Carlo said.

(Besides, Coleen is very easy to work with, and we are very open to each other, talk to us about what is happening in life, so that we are comfortable in every scene)

Working on some intimate scenes in the series, Coleen mentioned that Carlo was a gentleman and had boundaries while doing some intimate scenes.

"Si Carlo na-appriciate ko sa kanya yung parang bawat kilos niya he keeps on checking on me while doing the scene, like "Okay ka lang Coleen, okay ka lang," she said.

(With Carlo, I appreciated the way he kept checking on me while doing the scene, like, "You're okay Coleen, you're okay")
