Calamba city gov't legal office offers aid to resort thrashed by guests

Lawyer Sam Yu, head of the Calamba City Legal Services Office, said they are willing to assist the owner of a resort which was trashed by guests who rented the place on Sunday night, August 13.

Yu said their office is ready if the owner of Jeremias Resort in Bucal, Calamba City pursues a complaint against the guests.

He said that the city government received information about the incident that went viral on social media on Sunday night.

They proceeded to the resort and Yu said that based on their initial discussion with the owner, he will not file a complaint but instead asked the guests to pay the damages after bringing the incident to the barangay.

He hopes that such incident won’t happen to other resorts in Calamba.

A video of the incident showed five men throwing tables, bottles, chairs, and even the water dispenser into the pool.
