It wasn’t easy to get to where she is now. Jermine Jacob even joined Wowowin in 2019 in the hopes of winning and bringing home extra cash to make ends meet, but she didn’t win. She eventually worked abroad to support her family and to be able to finish school.
Life has been better for Jermine since then. Together with her then-boyfriend Luvert Edison Dones Bondol, they put up a business selling branded watches. It’s been two years since then, and they are now enjoying the fruits of their labor.
Today, Aug. 15, 2023, they got married and had their reception at Aquila Crystal Palace Tagaytay. And as a treat to their guests of about 100, they informed their guests that there was no need to give gifts to them. Instead, each of them got to bring home a Michael Kors watch and 18-karat gold necklace.
When asked what the reaction of the guests were upon receiving the gifts, Aldrik Gohel of Moments by Ruffa, their coordinator, shared, “Siyempre, natuwa po sila kasi ang bongga!”
