Globe Telecom Inc. makes progress in its desired transformation from Telco to Techco as its non-telco revenues soared 52 percent to ₱2.8 billion in the first half of 2023 versus the same period last year.

From its core telco business, Globe has expanded its portfolio through ventures in financial technology, healthcare, edutech, climatech, entertainment, adtech, e-commerce, manpower, information technology services and investments.

Still, GCash remains as the flagship of its non-telco business.

GCash features the largest digital ecosystem in the country with 6 million merchants and social sellers and over 900 merchant partners hosted in GLife.

Its suite of digital financial services, covering savings (via GSave), investments (via GFunds and the recently launched GStocks and GCrypto), and insurance products (via GInsure).

KonsultaMD can potentially become as big as its mobile wallet and be the country’s next unicorn.

Late last year, Globe consolidated KonsultaMD with HealthNow and AIDE, creating the country's largest telehealth concern, with the largest user base of over 2 million.

The consolidation brought together KonsultaMD’s expertise in on-demand doctor consultations, HealthNow’s strength in medicine delivery, and AIDE’s mastery of providing health services at home.

Todate, the new KonsultaMD SuperApp offers the full healthcare experience from 24/7 doctor consultations, pharmacy, to diagnostics at-home.

With over 1,000 healthcare providers, 40+ specializations, and more than 1,000 pharmacy offers, KonsultaMD serves Filipinos nationwide in 16+ dialects.
