It looks like Alden Richards will not be seen anytime soon in any noontime show on GMA Network or its free-to-air GTV channel. The Kapuso actor said it's his choice out of delicadeza to Tito, Vic, Joey, and the Dabarkads.

"If it's about promo, ok po pero as a guest and regular host, baka hindi po muna kasi yung puso ko po is with the Dabarkads," Alden said after the mediacon of his latest show " Battle Of The Judges" which he will host every Saturday starting July 15.

Alden confirmed that there was indeed an offer from GMA management to appear in a noontime show. He expressed his thanks to GMA Network's senior vice president Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes for hearing out his stand on the matter.

"Na-offer po," Alden said. "Tahimik lang ako all throughout the issue, hindi po ako nakikisawsaw pero by the time kasi na natanong ako about my relationship with TVJ, syempre sinabi ko po yung piece ko. Hindi naman po ako plastik. Hindi ko pwedeng sabihin na wala kaming pinagsamahan ng Dabarkads before. Hindi ko pwedeng sabihin na dahil wala na sila sa GMA, I let go of things that we have shared all throughout those seven years. Hypocrite po naman siguro ako kung sinabi ko yun, di ba? So sinabi ko lang po yung totoo."

(I was offered. You see, I have been quiet all throughout this issue, I did not involve myself but by the time I was asked about my relationship with TVJ, of course I said my piece. I'm not a hypocrite. I cannot say that I was not with them. I cannot say that just because they're no longer with GMA, I let go of things that we have shared all throughout those seven years. I just told the truth.)

"I think that's basic human rights," Alden added. "Karapatan ko po yun eh, to really defend yung relationship and respetong binibigay ko po sa mga taong nakasama ko dito sa showbiz. I think that's what really matters to me more than anything. Yung relationship at pagiging tao ko sa harap nila."

Referring to the Dabarkads, Alden declared: " I love this group of people dearly. Matagal ko po sila kasama. It's a good six or seven years of my entire career. I'm turning 12 years in the industry, so most likely kalahati ng buhay ko sa industriya nasa (old) Eat Bulaga!"

Alden admitted that he felt very sad that he could not join the group in their new network.

"Of course, wala po akong karapatang makialam sa decision ng management ng parehong kampo dahil isa lang po akong empleyado, pero kumbaga kung sa personal kong damdamin at puso malungkot po ako na hindi na ako makakabalik sa (Dabarkads)."

"Hindi lang naman GMA ang merong exclusivity, even all the other networks has that. Basta kahit saan man po ako makapunta, yung puso ko bilang Dabarkads hindi na po mawawala yan," he added.

It will be recalled that Alden became a co-host of Eat Bulaga! in 2015 and he eventually was paired with Maine " Yaya Dub" Mendoza. Their popularity gave birth to a mini-series called "Kalyeserye."
