NCT 127 documentary to stream on Disney+ 


Disney+ announced on July 6 that it will release a documentary about K-pop boy band NCT 127. 

The documentary “NCT 127: The Lost Boys” will be coming exclusively to Disney+ on Aug. 30. In 2016, members of NCT 127 left childhoods behind and stepped into the limelight.

In the four-part series, Disney+ said NCT 127 members Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark and Haechan talk about their childhood experiences growing up in various cities around the world and their feelings about their international success and the unexpected difficulties they have faced along the way. 

Each episode will focus on two to three members of NCT 127 as they delve about their past and reveal exclusive footage for audiences to enjoy.

“NCT 127: The Lost Boys” is directed by Jayil Pak (“Georgia”), created by Cho Youngchul (“Persona,” “So Not Worth It”) and Yim Pilsung (“Persona,” “Doomsday Book,” “Scarlet Innocence”). 

Two episodes will be released each week from Aug. 30 to Sept. 6.
