In an online press conference on July 26, TXT’s Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai answered questions from the media about their Disney+ documentary.

According to Beomgyu, one memorable moment for him in the documentary was when they finished performing at Lollapalooza, which was held in July last year in Chicago.

“Near the end of the documentary, after we were done performing at Lollapalooza, I still remember the facial expressions on our members’ faces. It was such a big stage that we've never been on and the day before, and just before we went on to the stage, my nervousness peaked its hike. So I still remember the facial expressions on the members’ faces after, you know, having pulled off such a big performance. It gave me chills down my spine and I'm very happy to see their faces,” he said.

About what he learned about himself or the fellow members while filming the documentary, Taehyun said, “So you know, performing and having these stages are a big thing to me and having these four supportive teammates,  I was very grateful that I have them.”

If “Tomorrow X Together: Our Lost Summer” documentary is turned into a movie, TXT said they want the Jonas Brothers to portray them.

“I would definitely say the Jonas Brothers. They actually have experience doing acting. In ‘Camp Rock,’ I think they did really well showing what a true singer is, an artist is. So it if were them, I think they would pull off the roles very greatly,” said Hueningkai.

Taehyun added, “If we have the opportunity to turn the documentary into a movie, that would be a big honor. And as Kai just said, if it's someone who is an actor, but also an artist or who has been singing before it will. make it better for us to immerse into the characters.”

About the key points in the documentary that fans should watch out, Hueningkai said, “I hope the fans could take away how much we love the MOAs [TXT fans] and also see the shining and beautiful moments of us.”

Taehyun said one moment in the documentary that made a strong impact on him was their Lollapalooza performance last year.

“Lollapalooza for sure. The joy and excitement and exhilaration that I felt during the time, I cannot forget and we are actually going back to the Lollapalooza next week so I am very excited for that,” he said. TXT will be performing on Aug. 5 at Lollapalooza.

On what are they grateful for about being a part of TXT, Hueningkai said it is the MOAs.

“If it weren't for the MOAs, I don't think we could have come this far. So I'm very grateful to the MOAs, our fans. And the MOAs, the members and our family are what made us move forward.  And since the debut,  I think we matured as a person and also we got bigger physically speaking. So if you watch the documentary, it was filmed just one year ago but we look quite different.  And I think we've been growing since the debut both mentally and physically,” he said.

Beomgyu said, “When we were on the tour last year, I felt that all of my members were experiencing personal and artistic growth. And because we've been to different countries, doing concerts and also, being on the Lollapalooza stage, I think each milestone is helping us grow. So I hope you stay tuned and watch us grow further going forward.”

About the challenges they faced preparing for “Act: Lovesick,” Taehyun said going from one place to another was a hassle.

“Getting on and off the flights was actually quite a hassle. It thought it was just traveling but the immigration and everything, it was quite a hassle,” he said.

Yeonjun said, “So at first, it was physically difficult to do all the 20 songs on the set list but because we've been rehearsing a lot and doing a lot of practice, we're getting used to it and we're getting the hang of it.”

“So last year was our first global tour. So we were new to everything. We didn't find anything quite familiar. But now that we are on the second tour, I feel like we're acting more naturally and we're becoming more professional,” said Soobin.

About any highlight in the documentary that viewers should not miss, Taehyun said, “I just hope that you have a lot of fun watching it. There are some scenes of MOAs’ reactions to our stage and they look like they're just having the best moments of their time. They look full of bliss. So if the viewers feel that they want to be in their shoes, then that will be great.”

In the documentary, Beomgyu said that “I'm living in a bubble. Now that I have stepped into a bigger world, I need to open my eyes wider.”

He explained that “‘what I meant by that is that after l debuted, the pandemic hit  so we didn't have that many opportunities to hold concerts and grow as artists after, you know. having concerts. But because we were on the world tour last year, l thought that was our chance to meet the MOAs in person and, you know, go on bigger stages. So I thought this was the true beginning of us. So l wanted to make sure that we are focused and that we could show everything on the stage and that's what I meant by those words.”

In the documentary, Yeonjun visited her aunt’s house where he stayed about 10 years ago. He said he did not imagine that he would become a K-pop artist one day.

“About 10 years ago, I stayed at my aunt's house and my cousins there really loved K-pop so I was also interested in K-pop. But at that time, I couldn't, you know, imagine in my wildest dreams that K-pop will go mainstream and just hit all the charts across the globe. But now it's massive. And as a K-pop artist myself, I'm very grateful and excited that we are also part of that,” he said.

About an unforgettable anecdote that is not part of the documentary, Beomgyu said, “During the tour last year, there were moments when I was feeling down or when I felt it was like emotional crisis for me. But every time that happened members would come to me, support me. Give me like a pat in the back and give me some advice, but they only did that when the camera was not rolling. So it's a pity that that was captured in the documentary. And hope that MOAs know that there were those nice and caring moments.”

Taehyun said he would love to film another documentary that is more candid.

“Yeah we are on tour right now. Looking back, just one year before I feel like it's like our past life. It's been so long but when I was watching the documentary, archiving our entire, I felt I was reliving that moment and traveling back in time. So if we do have the chance, I would love to do another documentary that is even more frank and candid than ‘Our Lost Summer,’” he said.

About what they want to convey to their fans through the Disney+ documentary, Yeonjun said, “So when you see us on stages or doing performances, you'll usually see the highlights of our performance or the bright parts. But if you watch the documentary, you'll be able to see the behind the camera moments of us so I hope you have fun watching those.”

When asked if “Our Lost Summer” is connected to their songs “Our Summer” and “We Lost The Summer,” Taehyun said, “Taehyun - In the song ‘We Lost The Summer,’ that was a song about the pandemic. It was kind of like an analogy because during the pandemic, we lost a lot of things. We couldn't meet our fans in person and it was quite a crisis for us but we wanted to overcome that crisis and that is what's captured in the documentary; hence, the name ‘Our Lost Summer.’”

He added, “In the other song “Our Summer,” there is the lyrics that goes, ‘if we're together, that's the summer.’ So I thought when we were together, when we were on the stage and together with the fans, we felt like it was summer and that is what we liked about performing. So l think that is why we have these different titles about summer.”

About who among them is excited for the release of the documentary, Beomgyu said, “I think it's all of us together very excited for the release.”

When asked to describe “Our Lost Summer” documentary in one word, Beomgyu  said, “I would say the word ‘youth.’ Because if you see the documentary, you can see that it archives the youthful moments of the five of us. So that's why I wanted to go with youth.”

Through the documentary, TXT will get to meet the global Disney+ subscribers. Soobin said through “Our Lost Summer,” viewers will get to see their true feelings and behind-the-scenes moments.

“So the documentary archives our very first global tour. And if it weren't for this documentary, I don't think it'd have been possible for us to show these various aspects of us. There is a lot of behind the camera moments and also confessions of our true feelings. So we try to stay very frank and candid. So I hope that you get to see our charms and get to know our names more,” he said.
