Metro Manila west zone water concessionaire Maynilad announced on Sunday, July 2, a series of water service interruptions to its service areas from July 3 to 9.
Residents of Caloocan will experience water service interruption from 11 p.m. on July 3 to 4 a.m. on July 4. Due to network maintenance. The affected areas are Barangays 136, 138, and 139.
Meanwhile, in Bacoor, Imus, Caloocan, and Quezon City, water service interruption is expected in some areas from 10 p.m. on July 4 to 6 a.m. on July 5. Affected areas are Aniban I, Bayanan, Dulong Bayan, Habay I, Habay II, Ligas III, Mabolo II, Mabolo III, Mambog I to Mambog V, Molino I to Molino III, Niog I to Niog III, Panapaan I, Panapaan IV to Panapaan VII, Real I, Real II, Salinas I, Salinas II, San Nicholas I to San Nicholas III in Bacoor.
Also in Caloocan City, the affected areas are Barangays 174, 175, 177, and 178 while in Imus City, affected areas Bayan Luma I, Bayan Luma II, Buhay Na Tubig, Bukandala III, Carsadang Bago I, Carsadang Bago II, Medicion I-B, Palico I, Palico II, Palico IV, Poblacion III-B, Poblcacion IV-B.
In Quezon City, the affected areas are Bagbag, San Bartolome, and Talipapa.
From 11 p.m. on July 4 to 4 a.m. on July 5, Barangay 57-63 in Caloocan City will also experience water interruption due to network maintenance.
Water service interruptions are also scheduled in Caloocan and Valenzuela from 10 p.m. on July 5 to 4 a.m. on July 6 due to network maintenance. Affected areas are Barangay 12, 36-38, and 41-45 in Caloocan, while in Valenzuela affected areas are Balangkas, Malanday, Wawang Pulo, and Gen T De Leon.
Also in Valenzuela from 10 a.m. on July 5 to 6 a.m. on July 6 water service interruption is expected in the following areas; Bignay, East Canumay, Lawang Bato, Lingunan, and Punturin.
From 11 p.m. on July 6 to 4 a.m. on July 7, residents of Barangays 66, 67, 68, 71, 72, 75-80, 86, 88, 90, 92, 94-100 in Caloocan will also experience water service interruptions due to network maintenance.
Caloocan residents most especially residents of Barangays 117, 118, 119, and 120 will also experience water service interruption from 11 p.m. on July 7 to 4 a.m. on July 8 while Daanghari and Tangos in Navotas are also scheduled for water service interruption from 11 p.m. on July 8 to 4 a.m. on July 9.
Maynilad is reminding its affected customers to store enough water to supply their needs during maintenance activities. It also reminds its customers to conduct flushing once the water supply is restored. (Nicole Magmanlac)
