Miss Philippines Pauline Amelinckx finished first-runner at the Miss Supranational 2023 beauty pageant held in Poland early Saturday morning (Manila time).

Andrea Victoria Aguilera Paredes, representing Ecuador, won the title of Miss Supranational 2023. Outgoing Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane of South Africa passed on the crown to Andrea at the end of the competition.

Other winners: Miss Brazil Sancler Frantz Konzen, 2nd runner-up; Miss United Kingdom Emma Rose Collingridge, 3rd runner-up; and Miss Vietnam Ngan Dang Thanh, 4th runner-up.

At the finale, the Top 5 contestants were asked the same question: "What makes a great grand brand ambassador for the Miss Supranational organization?"

Pauline answered: "It would be dedication. Dedication to this journey, dedication to the people who have brought her up to this journey and dedication of course with the organization that she'll end up working with. This is such a beautiful experience. And she has to be someone who will bring people together. Someone who knows that this is not a one-woman journey. We all have our differences, but we also realize that we have so much in common. And we are now gathered here on this stage transcending our own borders, bringing nations together."

Andrea said: "Oh my god. For me, working with Miss Supranational Organization would be the greatest honor of my life. I could travel around the world carrying its legacy. I would really love to start my own foundation to help single moms find employment. But one of the most important things for me, the Miss Supranational platform, makes me accomplish one of the most, the biggest dreams of my life. This is studying medicine with my own funds, becoming a doctor, and continuing to help people. Thank you very much."

Earlier, the Belgian-Filipino beauty queen from Bohol automatically entered the Top 24 semifinalists after she won the "Suprachat" challenge.

Pauline, 27, competed in Miss Supranational 2023 pageant after she finished in the Top 3 of the 2023 Miss Universe Philippines pageant in May.  This was her third time competing in the prestigious national beauty contest. Michelle Dee emerged as the victorious winner of the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant.

Delegates from the Dominican Republic, Gibraltar, India, Mexico, The Netherlands, Peru, and Puerto Rico also secured spots in the Top 12 of the Miss Supranational 2023 contest.

In 2013, Mutya Johanna Datul made history in the Philippines by winning the Miss Supranational crown. Started in 2009, the Miss Supranational contest focuses on natural beauty and grace.
