The cast of 'Eat Bulaga' on GMA Network

"Eat Bulaga" host Paolo Contis got emotional on national television on Saturday, June 10, as he appealed to the public to spare the production staff and crew members from bashing because "they don't deserve it."

Paolo shared his sentiments moments before the noontime show ended. Then he praised the people behind the camera for not leaving the program Former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno also joined the noontime show as the latest co-host.

"Yung bashing sa amin, mga mura, pag-aalipusta sa amin, inspirasyon po namin yan. Binabasa namin lahat yan. Pero yung mga magagandang comments, nababasa rin namin yan. Kaya maraming-maraming salamat sa inyo," Paolo said.

(The bashings, insults, that's our inspiration. We read all of that. But the nice comments, we also read that. So thank you very much,"

"Bukod sa mga televiewers, ang inspirasyon namin ay yung mga dabarkads dito sa studio. Yung mga nasa likod ng camera, yung mga staff, writers, yung crew, lahat po sila ay inspirasyon namin.

(Apart from the televiewers, our inspiration is the dabarkads here in the studio. Those behind the camera, the staff, writers, the crew, they are all our inspiration.)

"Umaga hanggang gabi nagta-trabaho na sila para pagdating namin dito sa studio, masaya kayo at alam na namin ang gagawin namin. Sila ang dahilan kung bakit alam namin ang ginagawa namin.
