The Kings clamped down on the defensive end and blanked the Dyip in the final three minutes as they went on a blazing 12-0 finishing kick to extend their winning streak to three and move up to a 4-3 record in the standings.
Mariano scored four of his 25 points during the telling run to cap a splendid performance that also saw him collar 11 rebounds.
Sidney Onwubere also sustained his solid showing for the Kings with 20 points while Von Pessumal, whose booming triple with 2:52 left triggered the run, finished with 17.
Jeremiah Gray and unheralded Donald Gumaru finished with 16 apiece as Ginebra erased Terrafirma’s eight point lead, 93-101 early in the final frame.
The Kings unleashed nine unanswered points to take the driver's seat, 102-101, but the Dyip quickly retaliated with their own 5-0 spurt to reestablish some breathing space.
Ginebra, however, found another gear to its fourth quarter rally and unloaded the back-breaking run with Pessumal, Grey, Mariano and Gumaru stringing consecutive points that ultimately took the fight out of Terrafirma.
Juan Gomez de Llano flourished as one of Dyip's top offensive options in the absence of star Juami Tiongson, finishing with 23 points.
Jelo Alolino added 16 while Isaac Go, Ed Daquioag and Eric Camson all chipped in 13 apiece as Terrafirma slid to 3-5 slate.
