Lone bettor from Lanao Del Sur wins P35.5-M Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot

A lone bettor from Lanao Del Sur won the P35,502,637.60 Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot on June 26. (Courtesy of PCSO)
The winning ticket was purchased in Barangay Eastern, Wao, Lanao Del Sur, according to a June 27 update posted on the official social media page of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). The bettor correctly guessed the winning digit combination of 26-40-06-12-44-14. PCSO said that since the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it will be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law. It also reminded all winners that if prizes remain unclaimed within one year, they will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund, per Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter. The next Mega Lotto 6/45 draw will be on June 28, along with the Grand Lotto 6/55 and other digit games such as 2D Lotto, 3D Lotto, and 4D Lotto. *(Rhowen Del Rosario)*
