76 wanted persons nabbed in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Seventy-six wanted individuals, including six most wanted, were arrested in simultaneous manhunt operations in the Cordillera region from June 11 to 17. The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) said the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) nabbed 30 wanted persons, Baguio City Police Office, 25; Mountain Province PPO, seven; Kalinga PPO, six; Ifugao PPO and Abra PPO, three each, and Apayao PPO, two. Six individuals were listed as most wanted persons, four on the provincial level, one on the city level, and one on the municipal level. The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said no crime incidents were recorded in 56 municipalities in the region and two police stations in Baguio City during the week. Zero crime incidents were recorded in 25 municipalities in Abra, four in Apayao, nine in Benguet, five in Kalinga, four in Ifugao, and nine in Mountain Province. Out of the 10 police stations in Baguio, Station 6 (Aurora Hill) and Station 8 (Kennon Road)  logged no crime incidents.
