Angel Thoughts
First off, let me wish all fathers, daddies, itays, tatangs, papas a “Happy Father’s Day” today. My own idol father was sportsman Amado Ramirez Munson who was also the best spouse to my mom, Paz Intengan Munson.
He passed away at a young fifty, but he left us a legacy of love in our family. He was my “dream man” and I measured all my crushes on him. Which is probably why I married late, at 26 years old. My man was Ramon “Sonny” Siytangco, and I was blessed with the ideal hubby, spouse, father of my four children, best friend, enabler and a soulmate. He went “home” early at 67 years old but he gave us a lifetime of happy memories.
Speaking of great fathers, we grieve with the family of Senator Rodolfo Biason, a true officer and a gentleman. He was a great dad too. He repelled the most dangerous coup attempts by the RAM soldiers against President Cory in 1989, among his other achievements. Rest in peace, Sir!
