Six rebels surrender in Aurora province


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Six Militia ng Bayan members voluntary surrendered to authorities in Aurora on Tuesday, June 13, and pledged their allegiance to the government.

The rebels reportedly came from the group of  the Regional Sentro Gravidad of the Komiteng Rehiyon-Cagayan Valley (KR-CV) operating in the province of Isabela.

Upon their surrender, the rebels also turned over two hand grenades, improvised 12-gauge shotgun, one-meter detonating cord, blasting cap, three 12-gauge ammunition, M14 magazine, 10 7.62mm ammunition, flag of CPP-NPA, and several subversive books and documents.

They were given financial assistance and assorted goods as they reintegrate to their respective communities.
