PRO-COR conducts outreach activity in Sagada, Mt. Province

SAGADA, Mt. Province – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera and personnel of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) conducted an outreach activity dubbed as ‘Panag-aywan Iti Kailyan,’ in Barangay Balugan here on Saturday, June 10.

PROCOR regional director Brig. General David Peredo, Jr., together with Lt. Col. Ruel Tagel, acting force commander ng RMFB15, led the distribution of wheelchairs to three Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and 22 solar lights, 12 water hoses, toilet bowls, 141 pairs of slippers, and 75 grocery packs to senior citizens, students and teachers.

Present during the activity were Col. Silby Dawiguey, provincial director of Mt. Province Provincial Police Office; Capt. Aida Esteban, acting Chief of Police of the Sagada Municipal Police Station; Sagada Mayor Felicito, other PROCOR police officers, and the local government officials of the municipality.

The outreach activity was made possible with the help of the stakeholders, including ‘Madame of Bauang’ and C & T Builders.

Peredo thanked the Sagada LGUs for supporting the PNP programs, specifically the Sagada MPS’ programs.

He also encouraged the beneficiaries (students and parents) to stay motivated in pursuing their dreams because poverty or lack of material things are not a hindrance to education.

“The activity aims to gather stakeholders' support to help our kakailyan, especially those who are deprived of certain services and rights in the region, and in support of the PROCOR's DKP 3-Fold Agenda – ‘Disiplina at Dasal, Kakayahan at Kaunlaran,  Pagmamahal at Pagtupad sa Tungkulin,"  Peredo added.
