In an update posted on Twitter, David said that the National Capital Region (NCR) positivity rate decreased from May 23 as it was at 24.4 percent (high) to 19.9 percent (moderate) on May 30.

Meanwhile, the hospital bed occupancy for Covid-19 patients in Metro Manila has decreased slightly over the same period and remained at low occupancy.

The World Health Organization (WHO) considers a rate of less than 5 percent to indicate that the spread of the virus is under control. (Rhowen Del Rosario)
