Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Vice-Mayor April Aguilar led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of  the Las Piñas City College of Engineering Nene Aguilar Campus on Tuesday, May 2.

According to Aguilar, the 10-storey building will be built in Barangay Talon Dos, as part of her administration's goal of giving quality and free education for Las Piñeros.

The mayor said the construction of the engineering building was made possible through Vice-Mayor Aguilar and the city council that allotted the funds for it.

Aguilar said around 4,000 city scholars will benefit  from the new campus.

She said the school will develop more professional engineers and will be the pride of the city.
