Failing to win a series against Bren in the regular season, the Codebreakers proved that their Estes-centered lineup is still relevant this season, claiming the three victories in the series with Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna weaving her magic with her signature hero.

Blacklist came out strong in the series opener as OhmyV33nus, Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales and Edward “Edward” Dapadap all joined hands in the 12-2 victory. Owl finished with a 4-1-2 line on the Karrie pick while OhmyV33nus tallied a 0-1-8 KDA.

Unlike in the first game which Blacklist dominated, it was a back-and-forth affair in Game 2 with both teams getting their own chances of ending the game.

Blacklist though displayed its championship poise in the crucial clashes in the late game especially in the 25th minute mark where it picked off Marco “Super Marco” Requitano and Michael “Kyletzy” Sayson.

The defending champion then went for the siege to take a commanding 2-0 lead.

Refusing to go down without a fight, Bren managed to turn the table in Game 3 when it denied Blacklist the Estes pick. Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel also shone on the midlane Joy pick finishing with a 4-0-2 KDA to cut the series lead, 2-1.

The Game 3 loss however hardly bothered Blacklist as the M3 World Champions just reverted back to their Estes pick easily enabling Owl’s surprise Moskov pick. Owl posted a perfect 4-0-4 line while Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario on the Fredrinn and OhhmyV33nus adding 1-1-9 and 3-3-10 KDAs respectively.
