Bulacan village receives dredging machine from DPWH

A dredging machine that has been requested a year ago by the  village chairman of Barangay Sta. Elena, Hagonoy, Bulacan was finally delivered by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 3, to the barangay on Friday, May 26. Barangay Sta. Elena Chairman Macario Faustino thanked Bulacan First District Representative Danilo A. Domingo who brought his request to the DPWH Regional 3 Director Roseler Tolentino; DPWH Equipment Management Division (EMD) Chief Danilo S. Danganan, and EMD Deputy Chief Francisco G. Faustino also thanked  Hagonoy Mayor Baby Manlapaz and Bulacan Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) Chief Glenn Reyes for their support to dredge the heavily silted rivers of Barangay Sta Elena. Engineer Ian Aldren E. Guese from the office of the EMD will lead the dredging operations, or removing of mud and wastes in waterways  in the said village, wherein the dug mud and soil could be used as a filler for the lower passages or inside the house.
