The two-day activity was conducted by the Revitalized-Pulis Sa Barangay (R-PSB) NCRPO Team under Maj. Rowena M. Jacosalem, and the Barangay 105 R-PSB Team, for the benefit of Tondo residents.
Police officers offered to help residents in registering their birth certificates.
The R-PSB NCRPO accommodated and registered a total of 100 birth certificates, gave priority to senior citizens who are not yet registered, to help them access government services such as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and the Social Security System (SSS).
Aside from senior citizens, the R-PSB also prioritized children who need birth certificates as a requirement for enrollment.
One of those assisted by the barangay police was an 11-year-old child whose enrollment was declined three times for not having a registered birth certificate. The student was finally able to enroll after securing a registered birth certificate.
