50 grams of shabu found from nail technician nabbed in Batangas drug bust

BATANGAS CITY – A 50-year-old nail technician was apprehended after yielding P340,000 worth of shabu to a police poseur-buyer during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday, May 24, in this city. Carlito Gaces, identified the suspect as Jennifer Lopez, married and a resident of Taysan, Batangas. She was arrested at 12:40 a.m. by the joint team of the Batangas Drug Enforcement Unit, Santo Tomas City police, and Batangas City police during the operation. Police seized 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000, a mobile phone, and buy-bust money.
