Pro-administration congressmen seemed uninterested with the idea of former president Rodrigo Duterte doing a "Donald Trump", or seeking a comeback to Malacañang in 2028.
As such, Deputy Majority Leader La Union 1st district Rep. Paolo Ortega V and Assistant Majority Leader Zambales 1st district Rep. Jay Khonghun only gave terse responses to this scenario on Monday, Nov. 18.
"Good luck po," Ortega said in a message directed to Duterte, after the solon was asked for his reaction in a press conference.
Khonghun was even more stingy with his response to the same question. "God bless," he said.
