The five-day CDMT started here on Monday, October 9, with Regional Special Training Unit 13 personnel as instructors.

On the other hand, two police commissioned officers and 14 police non-commissioned officers from the RSSF will take the one-day Medical Response Team (MRT) seminar here on Thursday, October 12, for the BSKE.

“The potential for civil disturbances during elections shall not be underestimated,” PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said.

“We must be more than ready to handle any situation based on the provisions of the law and our PNP police operational procedures,” he said.

Kraft added that the establishment of a medical response team is another critical component of preparations as health emergencies can occur during the electoral process and having a specialized team of trained police officers can respond swiftly to incidents.

He assured the people of Caraga that they are ready to support the Commission on Elections in the BSKE.
