PNP pursuing good leads on missing beauty queen

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now pursuing good leads in locating Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate Catherine Camilon who was reported to have been missing since Oct. 12.

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said police units in Batangas have been assisting the family to backtrack the areas where Camilon went and her possible locations.

“I already talked with the provincial director of Batangas and according to him, they are pursuing good leads. Our personnel there are in colose coordination with the family and they went to the area where she was reported missing,” said Faajrdo.

Camilon’s disappearance was first reported by her sister who also posted it on social media.

Fajardo said the local police immediately coordinated with the family, and the last update was that the family of Camilon has asked the police to let them exert their efforts first in reaching out to her.

“The PNP will respect the family’s request for them to reach out so I really cannot give more details,” said Fajardo.

“But suffice it to say, we have good leads on this case,” she added.
