Parañaque health office holds “Battle of the Brains”on World AIDS Day

The Parañaque City Health Office (CHO)- Social Hygiene Clinic and Wellness Center conducted “ Battle of the Brains” in celebration of World AIDS Day at SM Sucat on Friday, Dec. 1 

According to Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez, the “Battle of the Brains” activity was participated by 40 students coming from 20 different public and private schools.

Olivarez said the activity was organized by the Social Hygiene Clinic and Wellness Center led by Dr. Karen Galvan in commemoration to show support for those living with human immunodeficiency virus or HIV and to remember those who were lost due to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or AIDS-related illnesses.

The mayor said winners at the “Battle of the Brains” were the Multinational Sacred Heart School for first place with P15,000 cash; Ann Arbor Montessori Learning Center for second place receiving P10,000 cash and Paranaque Science High School for third place with P8,000.

Olivarez also congratulated all the participants for showing their talents and in support of the celebration of World AIDS Day.
