KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia-- President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and his delegation arrived here on Tuesday afternoon, July 25, for a state visit.
The plane carrying Marcos and the Philippine delegation landed at 4:51 p.m. at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Also dubbed as a "reciprocal visit" between the Philippines and Malaysia, Marcos' state visit is a "testament to the reinvigorated relationship" of both countries.
The President's trip here followed the visit of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to Manila in March this year.

Marcos will also participate in a tree-planting event and an orchid naming ceremony inside the Palace.
He will conclude his first day in the city with a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister.
On his last day here, the Chief Executive will hold various meetings with business leaders before going back to the country.
