Manila Water announces water interruption in parts of Metro Manila, Rizal


East zone concessionaire Manila Water announced water service interruption in parts of Metro Manila and Rizal from Friday, June 23, to June 30 due to maintenance repairs.

In Cainta, Rizal, residents of Barangay Santo Domingo (Cypress Village and Villa Olympia) will experience water service interruption due to leak repair starting 10 p.m. on June 23 to 4 a.m. on June 24, Manila Water said. 

Meanwhile, water supply will be interrupted in Rodriguez, Rizal due to line maintenance from 10 p.m. on June 23 to 4 p.m. on June 24. Affected areas include parts of Barangay San Jose (Amityville Phase 1 and Phase 2 Subdivision, Pamahay Village, Vista Rio Village).

Residents of Barangay Dolores and Barangay San Isidro in Taytay, Rizal were also advised to save enough supply of water as service interruption was scheduled from 10 p.m. on June 26 to 4 a.m. on June 27.

Residents of Antipolo, Rizal will also experience water service interruption due to line maintenance starting from 10 p.m. on June 26 to 5 a.m. on June 27. Affected areas are parts of San Jose, and San Isidro (Santana Maternity & Children Hospital Inc., J. Sumulong Street portions of San Jose F. Manual Street, Lopez Jaena Street, LC Lopez Resources / I- Mall Bayan).

In Makati City, water service interruption is also scheduled due to line meter replacement. Maintenance will start from 9:30 a.m. on June 28 to 3 a.m. on June 29 in parts of Barangay Valenzuela and Barangay Poblacion.

Water service interruption was also scheduled in parts of Barangay Teacher’s Village East and Malaya in Quezon City due to line meter replacement starting from 10 p.m. on June 29 to 4 a.m. on June 30.

Manila Water reminded its affected customers to store enough water to supply their needs during maintenance activities, and conduct flushing to remove unnecessary particles once the water supply is restored. (Nicole Magmanlac)
