Emmanuelle Vera says she was part of MUPH's 'unannounced' Top 10 finalists


Actress-beauty queen Emmanuelle Vera took to social media recently to talk about her Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) stint.

There, she expressed her gratitude to everybody who made her journey possible.

"You are the ones who truly deserve crowns. People like me are merely the faces of the hardworking & dedicated teams who are the machinery that keep us going," the beauty queen from Cebu started.

She thanked God first and foremost.

"He is sovereign above every circumstance, and I praise him in both my victories and defeats," she reiterated.

She also thanked her ProMedia Philippines family saying, "From beginning to end, planning to training to executing to debriefing, you were there, offering valuable advice and providing me with all the tools necessary to succeed."

"A top 10 finish, though it remains unannounced, is surely something to be grateful for, and a feat I could never have accomplished without you. I am proud to be a #promediaathlete," she added.

She also applauded the MUPH organization, as well as, her glam team.

Many reacted to her post, with one fan expressing sympathy.

"youā€™ll never get the apology you deserve.. announcing the wrong top 10 is MESSED UP. you deserved to hold that mic. im fuming," it read.

The singer-songwriter replied: "life isnā€™t always fair, but it is what it is. God knows. love you & thank you for being so staunch in your support."

Prior, Emmanuelle closed her MUPH 2023 chapter with positivity.

She wrote on Instagram: "you win some, you lose some. you fall. you get back up again. what matters is that you handle it all with grace and a good heart."

"sending my love and gratitude to everyone who sent their kind messages of consolation and support! i love you guys immensely! and a biiig congratulations to my sisters who performed exceptionally. you all shined. an individual thank you post will follow, but for now itā€™s time to hang up my hat and return to what i know best. i trust that fantastic things lie ahead, because i know who holds my future. #SupraVeraDone."

MUPH National Director Shamcey Supsup already provided clarity as to what transpired after the announcement of the Top 10 finalists.
