Pasay LGU holds Sto. Niño exhibit

The Pasay City government and the Congregation of del Nombre de Jesus Inc. formally opened the exhibit of images of Sto. Niño on Thursday, Jan. 18, in celebration of “Fiesta del Sto. Nino”.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano serving as Hermana Mayor and husband Egay Rubiano as Hermano Mayor, together with Congressman Antonino Calixto, paraded toward the Pasay City Astrodome to formally open the exhibit featuring 501 Sto. Niño images.

Rubiano said the exhibit is open from Jan. 18 to 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a novena Mass at 7:00 p.m.

She said the fiesta Mass for Sto. Niño will be held on Jan. 27 at 5:00 p.m. while the grand procession from Pasay City Hall will be held on Jan. 28.

At the opening of exhibit, Rubiano said having the Sto. Niño in the city at the start of the year is a great blessing and reminder that 2024 could possibly the best year for every Pasayeno.

A Sto. Niño devotee, the mayor thanked the Congregacion del Nombre de Hesus for giving the city the opportunity to start the year full of love and optimism. 

She also encouraged every Pasayeno strengthen their faith in God.
