Reyes said the budget for the provision of road studs with solar lights and the improvement of the basketball court was appropriated from the private fund of the governor in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

In coordination with Damayang Filipino Movement, Inc., Fernando was also able to install more than 100 street lights and conduct beautification projects along the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Road in Brgy. Tabang.

Through the assistance and coordination of the past president of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Mason of the Philippines, Engineer Jun Gatchalian and his team, Fernando has conducted improvement and asphalting of other roads in the village.

Fernando clarified that the awarding of projects was based on the needs of the barangay and not on favoritism.

“Pantay po ang pagtingin natin sa lahat ng mga barangay sa ating lalawigan. Lahat ng idinudulog sa atin na mga proyekto ay sinisikap nating tugunan. Bawat programang ating isinasagawa ay para sa ikagiginhawa ng buhay ng ating mga kalalawigang Bulakenyo,” (We look at all barangays in the province equally. We try to implement the projects that they requested from us. Each project is aimed at improving the lives of our people)," the governor said.

The governor also thanked the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for responding to the request of his constituents concerning its drainage system and called on it to fast-track the ongoing projects in the province, especially along McArthur Highway.
