Man wanted for incestuous rape in Masbate arrested in Pasay City

A man wanted for incestuous rape in Masbate was arrested during a manhunt operation conducted by a combined team of Pasay City police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) and Uson Municipal Police Station, Masbate on Sunday, April 30. Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, identified the suspect as Leonides Rosas,46, a vendor, of Barangay Crossing Uson, Masbate. Uy said the suspect was arrested at around 11:00 p.m. along Leveriza St. Barangay 21, Zone, Pasay City. The city police chief said the Uson Municipal Police Station coordinated with members of the Pasay police WSS for the arrest of Rosas who allegedly went into hiding in Pasay City. Uy said Rosas, tagged as the Top 8 most wanted personÂ in Masbate, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued byÂ Judge Jose Ronald Bernales, of Masbate Regional Trial Court (RTC)Â Â 5^thJudicial Region Branch 48, for the crimeÂ of Incestuous Rape In Relation To Section 5(b) of R.A 7610.
