Pia Wurtzbach is simply stunning as she makes her Cannes Film Festival red carpet debut

The former Miss Universe slayed the red carpet with a custom Mark Bumgarner piece.

“Liquid metal gown.” That’s how stylist Perry Tabora describes the piece Pia Wurtzbach is wearing as she makes her red carpet debut at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The former Miss Universe is at the film fest to attend the premiere of the film “Monster.” And her garment of choice for the event is courtesy of Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner.
Pia is simply a vision of style and elegance in Mark’s metallic scarlet evening gown. Adding a dose of glamor to the look are the dazzling jewelry pieces courtesy of APM Monaco.  

“This is one of the looks I custom made for her for Cannes and I’m over the moon that she chose this look on the red carpet last night,” the designer wrote in a caption. “Pia looks absolutely phenomenal!”
The stellar look even captured the attention of Harper’s Bazaar, including her in its [Best Dressed List](https://www.harpersbazaar.com/celebrity/red-carpet-dresses/g43895224/red-carpet-looks-cannes-film-festival-2023/?slide=39).
“My deepest appreciation and admiration to Mar Bumgarner for creating this red dress for me,” Pia shared. “I felt like a shining star on the red carpet…I didn’t [want to] take it off.”
