5 villages in Parañaque record high number of Covid-19 cases


The Parañaque City Health Office (CHO) recorded five villages with high number of Covid-19 case, totaling 103 on Saturday, May 13.

The CHO said the five villages were  Barangays San Isidro in District 1 with 16 cases; BF Homes with 15, Don Bosco with 25, Marcelo Green with 13 and San Antonio with 10 all at District II.

The other villages with Covid-19 cases in District 1 were Baraangays Baclaran with one, Don Galo with three, San Dionisio with one, Sto Nino and Tambo both with one.

In District II the identified villages were Barangays  Merville with four, Moonwalk with six, San Martin de Porres with three and six in Sun Valley.

The CHO said that of the 103 reported cases, 11 were new cases. Six have reportedly recovered from the disease.

Mayor Eric Olivarez urged city residents, especially the senior citizens and those with comorbidities, to get vaccinated with the primary doses and the booster shots to further prevent the spread of the disease.

Olivarez also told residents to be responsible in practicing the health protocols particularly the wearing of face mask in closed areas and implement physical distancing.
