It is undeniable that the Covid-19 pandemic opened our eyes on the importance of investing in our health, and this realization even applied for some businesses and companies. The very reason why Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc. (AC Health) launched the Healthway Medical Network (HMN)—marking the integration of all its hospitals and clinics under the Healthway brand.

The new identity of AC Health’s hospitals and clinics group was announced last May 8, 2023  at the ceremonial signage lighting of Healthway QualiMed Sta. Rosa in Laguna. The event was attended by key executives from Ayala Corporation, AC Health, and HMN, as well as local government officials, representatives from various sectors of the community.

“The pandemic highlighted the importance of investing in health care and Ayala’s commitment to healthcare remains stronger than ever,” Ayala Corporation’s Fernando Zobel de Ayala said during the ceremonial opening. “At Ayala, we believe that every Filipino deserves access to quality healthcare and we are committed to help make this a reality.”

“We believe that care beyond cure is not simply an empty slogan, but a guiding principle,” said Jimmy Ysmael, president and CEO of HMN . “We understand that our patients are more than just a set of symptoms or a medical condition. They are people with unique stories, experiences, and emotions. Through the integration of our clinics and hospitals, we will strive to provide the highest quality of care, focusing on treating the whole person, not just the illness.”

The company is boasting for their “Connected Care Circles”—a healthcare approach to provide patient-centric end-to-end care. Organized around specific clinical needs, the program offers co-located services where patients are managed by a multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring coordinated continuity of care throughout the entire patient journey

In addition to its integrated network of clinics and hospitals, HMN benefits from being part of the broader AC Health ecosystem, encompassing various healthcare touchpoints such as pharma and digital health. Aside from HMN, AC Health’s subsidiaries include Generika Drugstore, IE Medica and MedEthix, and KonsultaMD in partnership with Globe's 917 Ventures.
