Residents of some parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) and Rizal will experience water interruptions from May 10 to May 18 due to several line maintenance.
In a statement, Manila Water said the water supply will be cut off in Taguig from 10 a.m. on May 10 to 4 a.m. on May 11, due to line meter declogging. The affected areas are Barangay Central Signal and Western Bicutan.
While residents of Angono, Rizal will also experience water service interruption from 10 p.m. on May 10 to 4 a.m. on May 11, due to line meter replacement and declogging. The affected areas are parts of Barangays Sto. Nino, San Vicente, Mahabang Parang (Meralco Village, Marwood Executive Village, DOMSA and Grandvalley Phase 6)
From 10 p.m. on May 11 to 4 a.m. on May 12, several parts of NCR and Rizal residents will also experience water service interruption due to declogging, line meter replacement, network improvement works, line meters and strainer declogging, and declogging.
Affected areas in Taguig are Barangays Palingon, Calzada, and Western Bicutan. While in Makati the affected area is Barangay East Rembo. In Rizal province, Angono, and Binangonan, affected areas are parts of Barangay Batingan, Mahabang Parang (Golden Palm Subdivision, Feliciano and Flamingo Lane)
Some San Juan City residents will also experience water service interruption starting at 10 p.m. on May 11 until 4 a.m. on May 12 due to line meter replacement and line maintenance. Affected areas are parts of Barangay Ermitanyo, Corazon de Jesus, Batis (R.L. Fernandez, San Miguel, San Pablo, San Luis, San Mauricio, F. Blumentritt, Valenzuela, Gen. Bautista, S. Tuano, R. Pascual), parts of Barangay Kabayanan (F. Blumentritt, A. Bonifacio, R.L. Fernandez)
In Antipolo, Rizal, due to line meter and strainer declogging some parts of Antipolo are scheduled for water service interruption starting 10 p.m. on May 11 to 4 a.m. on May 12. Affected areas are parts of Barangay Dalig (Sitio Payong HOA/Borland/Binhing Pag-asa), Sta. Maria Subdivision (Phase 1, 2, 3), Avida / St. Gabriel Heights, Milagros Subdivision/ Dalig 2 / Dalig 3, Sta. Maria Subdivision, Sitio Parugan B2 & Syntergyville)
From 10 p.m. on May 11 to 6 a.m. on May 12, Marikina, Antipolo, and Cainta, Rizal are also scheduled for water service interruption. The affected areas are parts of Michelia Residences in Marikina. Parts of Barangay Bagong Nayon (Mahogany Subd., Sitio Taguisan 2 and 3, Along GSIS Ave. and clusters, Cogeo Clusters J, K, and L and Upper Tulaken) in Antipolo, Rizal.
Parts of Barangay San Isidro (Vista Verde Executive Village) in Cainta Rizal are also affected due to line meter strainer and declogging.
Meanwhile, in Taguig, residents will expect water service interruption starting 10 p.m. on May 12 to 4 a.m. on May 13, due to declogging. Affected areas Barangays Napindan, Ligid- Tipas, and Ibayo-Tipas.
In Quezon City, there are three scheduled water service interruptions starting on May 15 until May 19. This is due to several line maintenance across the city.
Parts of the Barangay UP Campus will experience water interruption starting 10 p.m. on May 15 to 4 a.m. on May 16. Parts of Barangay Pinyahan and parts of Barangay Central are scheduled starting 10 p.m. on May 17 to 4 a.m. on May 18.
Some parts of Barangay Alicia and Sto. Cristo are scheduled from 10 p.m. on May 18 until 4 a.m. on May 19. (Nicole Magmanlac)
