Initially, the deadline for comments on the draft of the K to 10 curriculum guide (CG) was set on May 3.

DepEd said that the extension of the public review “intends to provide enough time for interested stakeholders to give their feedback on the shaping papers and draft curriculum guides for the Language and Literacy, and Reading learning areas.”

Meanwhile, DepEd expressed its gratitude to over 4,800 respondents that submitted comments on the draft of the revised K to 10 curriculum.

DepEd said there was a total of 4,843 respondents which consist of 4,499 individuals and 344 organizations, including students’, parents’, and teachers’ organizations; professional associations; government agencies; private schools associations; higher education institutions; and non-governmental organizations.

These respondents participated in the public review of the Shaping Papers and revised Curriculum Guides for Kindergarten to Grade 10.
