TV host Willie Revillame has resigned from Manny Villar’s ALLTV,
several news outlets reported recently.
The management of the station, the flagship property of Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) as headed by its president Maribeth Tolentino, is yet to confirm this but veteran entertainment newshound Cristy Fermin has already validated its veracity in her most recent vlog citing a source.
“Isa pong source ang nakapagbalita sa amin na sumulat na po si Willie Revillame sa pamunuan ng ALLTV...nag-resign na po siya. Wala na siyang kinalaman sa istasyon," she said.
ALLTV took over ABS-CBN’s frequencies as granted by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
It was launched September 13 last year with Willie as consultant.
Last February, however, it was reported that it will "suspend" several of its original shows due to poor ratings.
Willie shrugged it off in an episode of “Wowowin”relating it simply to birth pains.
He said, “Siyempre nagsisimula pa lang ang ALLTV. Nagsisimula pa lang kami. Sanggol pa lang ito eh. Talagang wala pang commercial na papasok dito kasi wala pa kaming reach.”
