High value drug pusher nabbed, P700,000 worth of shabu seized in Calamba drug raid


CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna – A high value drug pusher was apprehended during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday dawn, April 4, at Purok 3B, Barangay Pansol in Calamba City.

The suspect, identified as Ronald, a resident of Brgy. Pansol, yielded 105 grams of suspected shabu, said Laguna Police Provincial director Colonel Randy Glenn Silvio.

Calamba City police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Milany Martinez said that around 12:53 a.m., the suspect transacted with a police poseur buyer who was able to buy from him a certain amount of shabu.

Four plastic sachets containing 105 grams of shabu with an estimated market value of P714, 000 were found in the suspect’s possession. The raiders also recovered the marked money used in the buy-bust transaction.

The suspect is now at the custodial facility of Calamba City Police and awaiting a drug-related complaint to be filed against him in the Prosecutor’s Office.

“The information provided by our citizens is a big key to the arrest of people involved in illegal drugs,” said Silvio.

“Your cooperation is towards order, peace, and prosperity of the entire Laguna Province,” he added.
