Thai-English actor and singer Jeff Satur, and Thai actor and singer Billkin were also at the press conference with Cha Eun-woo.

Before the event, Cha Eun-woo walked the red carpet. At the red carpet event and press conference, Cha Eun-woo was in a subdued mood.

During the press conference, Cha Eun-woo said he is grateful to be involved in the KonnecThai event.

“I am delighted and grateful to have the opportunity to be involved in such a meaningful project. I just came to Thailand and I received a warm welcome from the fans. They encourage me every time I come back and I bring back good memories, and since the fans and I are far apart, I will use social media to connect with the fans. And tomorrow I will prepare a song for the fans to listen to,” he said, Thai media reported.

At the press conference, Cha Eun-woo also presented a signed hat to the winning auction bidder. The winner made a bid of 400,000 baht (about $11,714). The proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Hospital Foundation in Bangkok.

Today, April 30, the Konnec Con Concert will be held with Cha Eun-woo, Jeff Satur and Billkin.

Last April 23, company Prestige Entertainment announced that Cha Eun-woo would participate in the event in Thailand.

“KonnecThai is not a typical performance by any artist. It is an event that connects Korea and Thailand through the participation of numerous artists.” It said.

It added, ““After sufficient discussion with the organizer, Fantagio, and the artist, it has been decided to proceed with participation in this event as planned.”

“Considering Cha Eun-Woo's emotions is the most important factor. We will do our best to accommodate Cha Eun-Woo, all of the artists, partners, and fans of all artists who will be attending this KonnecThai event and make KonnecThai a place where everyone can share a memorable moment,” it said.

According to the company, “Prestige Entertainment expresses its gratitude to Fantagio and Cha Eun-woo for their decision. The concept of Cha Eun-Woo's show will be modified. By focusing primarily on the artist's emotional state. And to have minimal effect on other artists,” it said.

“Finally, we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased, who passed away peacefully on his final journey,” said Prestige, referring to Moonbin.

When Moonbin passed away on April 19, Cha Eun-woo immediately took a flight from the US to return to South Korea.

Cha Eun-woo visited and left a letter at Moonbin’s memorial space that was set up at their agency Fantagio’s building in Gangnam, Seoul.

"Hey, Bin. Tonight's a night that I miss you, you bastard. I couldn't fall asleep, so I came out for a walk with San-ha. Are you getting a good sleep? Why do I feel like I took everything for granted with you, even the smallest things? I miss all those things, and I also have lots of regrets,” Cha Eun-woo wrote in his letter.

He said, "I hope that you will be like 100 times happier over there. I'll take the responsibility of everything you left behind, so don't worry about that. You've done well here. I love you, and miss you, my friend."
