CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Abra Police Provincial Office has been conferred the institutionalized status for their effective implementation of the PNP Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding the Rule of Law (PATROL) Plan 2030.
The Abra PPO received a certificate and a Silver Eagle award for garnering an overall rating of 90 percent after months of hard work and thorough preparation of documents for impact audit and revalida during the Institutionalization Evaluation Process (IEP) as the fourth and final stage of the Performance Governance System (PGS) pathway.
The Abra PPO under the leadership of Police Col. Froilan Lopez was the first police provincial office nationwide to become recipient of the Silver Eagle award.
Police Brig. Gen. Patrick Joseph Allan, deputy regional director for administration of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera, presided over the conferment ceremony on Monday, April 24, at the Masigasig Grandstand in this camp.
“To Abra PPO, as you made history today, you likewise set yourselves as the standard for other units to benchmark. Therefore, sustain the remarkable accomplishments you have attained and continue to prove that institutionalized status bestowed upon you is not simply a title but already your way of life,” Allan said.
Certificates of recognition and plaque of appreciation were given to deserving PRO-Cordillera personnel and Abra PPO Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) for their outstanding performance and stellar accomplishments resulting in the effective execution of the PGS Institutionalized Status with the Silver Eagle award.
The Silver Eagle award was conferred on the Abra PPO for their outstanding commitment and unwavering support in the effective implementation of the PNP PATROL PLAN 2030 for the attainment of a “highly capable, effective, and credible police service” as validated in their institutionalization evaluation process.
