Actress Beauty Gonzalez uploaded a sexy picture of her early this month and it went viral.
There, Beauty is seen wearing a two-piece pink bikini while holding some flowers.
Many netizens "loved" the concept.
In fact, some of the 31-year-old's colleagues in showbiz even bombarded the comment section.
Sunshine Garcia quipped: "Ayyyy teka nga magawa nga yan."
Rabiya Mateo complimented the hot mama, writing: "Yaaaas (fire emoji)."
During a media conference where she was named newest product endorser of Hey Pretty Skin, Beauty was asked about it.
She revealed it was actually her own idea.
"I was like: 'What am I gonna do with these flowers? Okay, I'll put a flower here and flower there," she said, referring to her pose where she's holding one cluster over her face while placing the other between her legs.
"I don't know. Natawa ako," she related.
So how did her husband, art curator Norman Crisologo, react?
Well, Beauty was actually the one who informed her partner about it going viral.
"Sabi ko: 'Baby, my flower went viral.' Sabi niya: 'What do you mean? What flower are you talking about?' Sabi ko: 'Not my flower, flower, hello! The flower photo!' Sabi niya: 'O, okay. Well, mabango naman yan. So I'm happy for you.' So tawa siya ng tawa," she said.
“My husband is very funny at the same time. Hindi naman siya yung tipo ng lalaki na seryoso. He’s very open and kind," she added.
In fact, Beauty revealed that it was Norman who insisted she post the picture because he really likes it.
“Ako, nahihiya ako mag-post ng sexy photos pero kapag sinabi na ng asawa ko mag-post, siyempre, post naman ako kasi mas naniniwala naman ako sa kanya,” she related.
"So siya yung namimilit sa akin mag-post ng sexy photos kasi sabi niya sakin: 'Hay naku, pagdating mo ng ano (ganitong age) wala na yun.' So habang nandito pa, siya yung nag-i-insist na mag-pictorial kami kasi he wants to capture this beautiful moment in my life. And he wants to put it in his... You know, I can always look back. And that's is the greatest gift a husband can give you - to get a photo of you at your most beautiful moment in your life. Because when I'm 50, I could look back again at it... Wala pa akong nahanap na lalaki na ganun so sobrang thankful po ako sa kanya."
Norman has no problem with Beauty working with different leading men.
In fact, when he found out that she is set to share the screen with Senator Bong Revilla, he advised her: “Just like all the boys na naging ka-love team ko, from Gabby (Concepcion) to Albert (Martinez) to Kelvin (Miranda) to Ariel (Rivera), make sure you brush your teeth before you come home."
“I’ve been love-team with all these guys, and yun lang ang bilin niya sa akin. ‘Baby, do you have a kissing scene today?’ 'Yeah, parang meron.' ‘Did you brush your teeth?’ 'Wait lang (demo to brush her teeth).'”
“He knows that it’s just a job. I think it’s better to ask him. Kasi it’s hard to explain on my side. I think I’ve given him the trust na kailangan lang, and I don’t hide anything from him," she stressed. “You know, as an actor also, you want to make it real. But, at the same time, you know your fine lines kung hanggang saan lang yun."
"But alam niya kasi na may respect ako sa sarili ko. Matindi ang itinuro ng mga magulang ko sa akin, and I want Olivia to be proud of me," she added, referring to their seven-year-old daughter.
Beauty shared that her baby girl is aware of her work.
“She sees me kissing a lot of boys in TV. In fact, nakita niya si Kelvin one time and (she was like:) ‘You’re the young boyfriend of my mom.’ Chinika niya. And I’m open to her na it’s just acting,” she said.
The Kapuso star said she really wants to break the wall in the Philippines about the notion of married actresses and/or celebrity moms who do kissing scenes and such.
"Bakit sa Hollywood normal lang ito? Bakit dito sa atin hindi? Porke't may asawa na yung isa or may anak na, bakit hindi pwede magka-love team? Gusto kong i-break yung wall na ganyan - na: trabaho lang ito. Kung lalagyan nila ng malisya, e de it means magaling kaming lahat. Pero sa totoo lang, we’ve been married for ten years, wala po kaming naging problema, awa ng Diyos.”
On the other hand, Beauty was also asked about her earlier pronouncement about retirement.
“Well, I was wrong at that time," she said about it. "People make mistakes, and, you know, noong sinabihan ako ng asawa ko: ‘Nakakatawa na, five years. Ngayon, may sitcom kang coming, may ganito kang coming, you might be leaving abroad for a movie, are you sure?’
“Maybe, another five years. ‘Tapos sabi niya: ‘Baby, alam mo kapag may tawad, may kapalit.’ Tawa ako nang tawa sa kanya... Extended na siya. Nagbayad na ako ng kapalit.”
As for them having another baby, Beauty reiterated that she and Norman have already talked about it.
"He knows that I only want one. Okay na. He has a lot of kids. Okay na kami," she said.
"I want to travel also. I want to experience life. And okay na rin sa isa... I want to enjoy life and relax. At the same time, I wanna fill up my cup before I fill up other people's cups."
