Gaces named new PRO 4-A chief


CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police Brig. Gen. Carlito M. Gaces assumed as chief of the Police Regional Office 4-A on Sunday, April 23.

Gaces replaced Police Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

Then Philippine National Police chief Police Gen. Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr. presided over the change of command ceremony.
Nartatez thanked the men and women of PRO 4-A for their unwavering support throughout his term.

He  acknowledged the critical role played by the local government units, other stakeholders, and the community in ensuring the successful implementation of public safety programs in the region.

Gaces accepted the baton of leadership and he emphasized the importance of continuity and consistency in ensuring the smooth transition of command and the uninterrupted delivery of services to the people of  Calabarzon.

“Pagmalasakitan natin ang ating mga kababayan, magtulungan po tayo. Let us maintain our dignity as men and women in uniform and continue to enforce the law without fear and favor. Together let us walk an extra mile for our people, who deserve nothing less, than the best service we can render,” Gaces said.

Gaces is a native of Bangui, Ilocos Norte, a member of the illustrious PNPA “Patnubay” Class 1995, and former deputy director for administration of the Police Regional Office-1 prior to his designation in PRO 4-A.
