CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 has completed the accounting of pensioners in the Caraga region under the Philippine National Police “Pensioner Ko, Sagot Ko” program in the first quarter of 2023.
The PNP Retirement and Benefits Administration Service based at the national headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City has recognized PRO-13 as the first regional office to 100 percent accomplish the accounting of pensioners nationwide.
The Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office and Talacogon Municipal Police Station were the first provincial and municipal police offices to accomplish the task in PRO-13.
PRO-13 Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II lauded the personnel of the PNP Retirement and Benefits Administration Unit-13 and the police officers assigned to municipal police stations who were designated as pensioner buddies of 2,578 retired law enforcers in the Caraga region.
“I congratulate our PNP personnel, who, in one way or another, contributed to this success in compliance with the directive from national headquarters requiring PNP retirees and their survivors to regularly update their records,” Labra said.
“This was aimed at helping address delays in the release of their pension and other benefits,” Labra added.
