"Grand Death Lotto," an Amazon Original Movie, is set in the very near future, in which a Grand Lottery has been established in economically challenged California. The only catch? You’ll need to kill the winner before sundown in order to legally claim their prize. New L.A. transplant Katie (Awkwafina) accidentally finds herself with the winning ticket and must join forces with amateur jackpot protector Noel (Cena) to make it to sundown in order to claim her multi-billion-dollar prize, all while dealing with Noel’s protection rival Louis Lewis (Liu), who also wants to get her to sundown in order to claim his rich protection commission.

All wooden shoe lasts used to create these unique artworks came from shoe factories that closed down. More than 700 artists answered our call to raise funds in support of community-based livelihood, food security in disaster response, and art programs.
"Please view (and buy) these beauties at Newport Mall. Net proceeds will support community kitchen and disaster response initiatives. These one-of-a-kind pieces are made from shoe lasts (wooden foot molds) that were otherwise destined for the scrap heap. Project Hulmahan rescued these discarded shoe lasts — sad relics from the Marikina shoe factories that went out of business during the height of Covid — and over 700 of our artist friends heeded our call to transform "trash" into treasure. We hope that you will take one or more of these pieces home with you," De Leon said.
The proponents of "Project Hulmahan" said that these items symbolize hope and everything good about the Filipino spirit of kindness, adding that they make perfect gifts for your loved ones, especially your children.
