Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano visits one of the stalls of 'Tindahan ni Nanay Emi' at the City Hall grounds

The Pasay City local government launched on Monday, March 13, the “Tindahan ni Nanay Emi” project as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month.

The activity was held at the Pasay City Hall grounds on March 13 and will continue until March 15.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the activity was conducted in cooperation with the City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) to give opportunities to “Juana” members of cooperatives in the city’s different barangays to sell their livelihood products.

More than 13 stalls were set up at the city hall lobby where visitors and employees can buy diverse locally-produced food and other goods.

Residents and guests can visit the "Tindahan ni Nanay Emi” from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Rubiano said the city government prepared various activities for its women residents until March 31.

A cook-off showdown and food fair on March 30 to 31 will be conducted as the culminating activities for the Women's Month celebrations, she added.
