‘All CebGo flights to transfer to Terminal 2 effective Nov. 7’

All CebGo flights leaving and landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be transferred to Terminal 2 from Terminal 4 effective November 7, 2024, its operator Cebu Pacific announced on Friday, Oct. 11.

The flight reassignment will include all CebGo flights between Manila and Busuanga in Coron, Palawan; Caticlan in Boracay; Cebu; Legazpi City, Albay; Masbate; Naga; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; Siargao; and Surigao.

According to Cebu Pacific, notifications will be sent to all affected flights regarding terminal change.

“This is part of [Cebu Pacific]’s ongoing collaboration with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) to improve the efficiency of operations at NAIA. [Cebu Pacific] fully supports the long-term vision of the NNIC and we will continue to work with our partners, so plans are executed smoothly,” the company said.

Earlier in September, NNIC said that a terminal reassignment was needed to decongest the main gateway and improve its efficiency.

Under its plan, NAIA Terminal 1 will be used solely by flag carrier Philippine Airlines, while Terminal 2 will be a purely domestic terminal, including those of Cebu Pacific.

Meanwhile, Terminal 3 will cater to all foreign airlines currently operating in Terminal 1, while Terminal 4 will be used by AirAsia flights that are currently in Terminal 2.
